Hi everyone ! Welcome back to my blog 🙂 Just a quick article today on the Fitbit watch. I got it for Christmas and purposedly waited some time to try it out before giving you my opinion. So after 4 months of wearing it, here is my review!
Hey everyone ! Today I want to talk about balancing your life, I know it sounds like a big complicated concept but trust me it isn’t that complex. I recently read a book called “The bingo Theory”, written by Mimi Ikonn (she’s a youtuber, you can check her page out here). At first I bought it and read it out of curiosity because I love her lifestyle and inspiring advice so it wasn’t to try to change something about my life. But as I started reading it, I got hooked up and realized I had a lot to understand about myself.
Very simply, the Bingo Theory is about understanding your personality in order to be perfectly balanced in life and, in extension, meet someone that matches you perfectly. In the book there are 4 different types of personalities :
- Feminine strength female
- Masculine strength female
- Feminine strength male
- Masculine strength male
Basically the book explains the traits of each strength, you’re both masculine or feminine but are more inclined to one of those. The book helps you find out which one is your strength. So this is part 1 of the book. Part 2, now that you know what your strength is, tell you about how to balance that strength to be 50/50 between masculine and feminine. And finally part 3 is about who is your perfect match depending on your strength and how you can make it work with your significant other.
The book is very easy to read with interesting examples. The whole reflection is quite insightful even though it could have been made a little bit more complex and thorough. I wouldn’t mind more psychological explanations and quotes of previous research.
Overall, despite the simplicity of the book, I would recommend it because the concept is quite interesting and for once, someone suggest a different vision : we are all the same but with variants that have to be mastered. Mimi Ikonn’s motto? Men are not from Mars and Women are not from Venus : We are all from planet Earth.

People believe that with the new year come the resolutions but I think that everyday is a new start and a chance to start something and give ourself the opportunity to work for our dreams.
So if any of you has plans or wishes for this new year, remember to work and fight for it everyday and, if sometimes you fail or want to give up, it’s fine because we’re humans and we can’t always be at our best. Just remember not to let the negative things in life take you down and keep doing your best !

For some of us, losing weight isn’t that easy. I know that after years and years of dieting, doing the yo-yo (my weight going up and down) and after mistreating my body into intense physical activities and/or low calories diets, my body now rejects my attempts to lose weight. I have to put more efforts to it and wait longer before getting any results. So I have been doing some research to find out how I could boost my metabolism and finally start to lose weight.

Well, when we go on a diet or try to get back in shape we often go for high intensity activities such as running, body building, or hours spent at the gym but we usually don’t think of the most basic and easiest physical activity : walking.
Hi everyone ! Today I want to talk really quickly about the website My Protein. The first time I’ve heard about it was through a friend who is a regular customer. She’s really into fitness and she actually helped me find out about the products suited for my lifestyle and my level of activity.
As I’ve mentioned in a previous post, “Physical Activity during Summer”, I run about 3 to 4 times a week and sometimes go to the swimming pool depending on my free time. I run between 40 minutes and 1 hour, early in the morning, and I’m using several products from the website My Protein.
Here’s the list :
- L Carnitine
- Mega green tea extract
That’s for the pills. Moving on to the shaker mix :
- Elle true diet (meal replacement when I don’t feel like cooking or when I don’t want to eat too much)
- Low calorie meal replacement (when I had too much to eat the meal before)
- Total breakfast (when I’m in a hurry in the morning)
- Whole Psyllium Husk
- Nutri-green => the 3 of theses mixed together help the digestion. I take a shaker every morning, 30 minutes before breakfast and it does wonders !
And last :
- Pancake mix : it’s the only product I have been disappointed with. It isn’t that good and the pancakes are a bit dry.
- Flav drops (chocolate and strawberry flavor) : I use it as a syrup with water or in my cottage cheese
- Low sugar maple syrup : same use as the Flav Drops but I haven’t used it that much so far
Some of those products I’ve been using for quite some times now, others are rather new. But since I’ve started to use this products, my energy has improved, I’m overall less tired and my digestion (yeah I know it’s not very glamorous ^^) has been back on tracks after years of struggles.
I’m very happy with this brand, the prices aren’t too expensive and there are sales EVERYDAY so you have to keep an eye on the website or subscribe to the newsletter to make sure you don’t miss out anything.
The delivery takes about 3 to 4 days and you receive emails and a text on the day and time of the delivery, to keep track of the delivery. So far I never had any problem.
You also have a large range of products from sports equipment to pills, proteins, whey, sportswear, etc. It’s perfect for high level athletes or people who just want to get back in shape. Good plus : the website offers a selection of products depending on your physical activity and gives you advice.
In one word, I’m really happy with this website so check it out if you’re interested !
